Prof. Mary Getui

Mary N. Getui is a professor of Philosophy at Kenyatta University where she teaches courses on religion and society in the department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. Mary has previously served as a dean of faculty and Head of Department in the same University. She has researched widely and published in the areas of education, religion and gender. She is involved in community service and church initiatives that focus on the family with special interests in children, youth and the women. Mary also has keen interests on the challenges that contemporary Africa has to grapple with as relates to culture, globalization and the rural-urban migration.


Rev Mary Kinoti

Mary is an ordained clergy and developmental psychologist. She is in charge of Day to day operations of Riziki Kenya. She is widely experienced in working with youth and children in the church, schools and society. She has been involved in designing programs and policies on HIV&AIDS with special reference to children, youth and women. Mary is very passionate about empowerment of orphans and vulnerable children and is currently researching on holistic child transformation. She is also commissioned as a missioner of hope for the Children of Africa.


Prof. Zablon Nthamburi

Prof. Nthamburi is an educationist and a theologian by training. He is a scholar and a renowned church leader, widely researched and published on areas of religion, church history and society. He is extensively involved in various development initiatives and provides leadership at the governmental, church and community level. Prof. Nthamburi is the immediate Chairman of the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK), former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church in Kenya and is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Resource Mobilization at the Kenya Methodist University.


Luke M. Kinoti

Mr. Kinoti is a microfinance practitioner with over 20 years experience. He has been involved in design and implementation of credit and community development programs and schemes. He is involved in mentoring, coaching and training entrepreneurs. Luke is the founder and Director of Fusion Capital, a company involved in accessing financial services to SME’S in Kenya. He has interest in empowering grassroots communities; mobilize local resources for poverty alleviation. He is a member of Charmers Global Network of Trainer and has previously worked with KSCF, NCCK, ECLOF and AMREF in various capacities.


Joyce Murithi

Mrs. Murithi is a Director of Melchizedek hospital where she also works as the hospital Counseling psychologist. She has wide experience working (counseling) with both individuals and groups. She has researched on trauma among primary school going children. Joyce extensively works with church and para church organizations in counseling and training counselors. She is also very well versed with medical diagnostic practices and professional ethics having worked at the Kenyatta National Hospital where she was in charge of pathology department. Joyce also worked for ICIPE where she was in charge of fine structure research Unit.


Francis Nkonge Chabari

Mr. Chabari is an experienced Agricultural Economist with background training in Dryland Resources Management. Francis presently works as consultant with Feinstein International Centre, Tufts University and heading a Regional Pastoralist Development Program in partnership with the Common Market for Eastern & Southern Africa (COMESA). He has previously worked as an Agricultural Extension Officer in the Government of Kenya, as an International Agricultural Research Scientist and as a Development Cooperation Coordinator with International Agencies. He is involved in mobilization of grassroot communities to undertake livestock development and fruit farming.
