Who we are KIN in the UK
The charity started by Phil and Estelle Goodwin has four trustees, Phil Goodwin, Estelle Goodwin, Richard Duncalf and Chris Daniel. Richard is Chairman of a luxury retailing group of companies. He is a Regional Board Member of Henshaws Society for the Blind and a Magistrate for the City of Manchester. He is an Advisor to the Liberal Democrats Chief Executive and was a former LEA Governor of Dean Oaks Primary School.
Chris has recently retired from full time corporate life. He worked in the Petroleum Industry and held a number of senior engineering management positions with various companies in the UK, Europe and USA. Chris is focusing on attracting funds from major donors.
Estelle Goodwin qualified as a lawyer but now spends most of her time running KIN. She is also a primary school governor and mother of three children. Phil Goodwin worked for many years in private equity in the UK retiring in 2005 to write a PHD. He is now Chairman of Fusion Capital Limited a Kenyan business specialising in loans to small and medium sized enterprises.
