Sharon
Sharon is 8 years old and in class two at Stara Academy. She is a daughter of Phanice Chimoli who is a single parent. She is a sister to: Derrick Ingosi who is 6 years old and in nursery school at Mashimoni Squatters. George Ogweno who is 16 years old and studies in the rural area in Mumias. Kalinda Iminza who is 1 year old. All are Sharon's brothers and sisters but come from different fathers. As result she is HIV positive. Sharon's birth was okay, she fed well and grew up well. As she got to 2 years she developed stomach ache and chest problem. She has been attending Wanga Medical clinic but needs a further check up which she has not afforded to get. She is in Stara Academy in class one. Her performance is not the best , she lastly came number 30 out of 45. Her fees is 100 shillings per month and tuition fee of 200 for extra couching every holiday. Her mums' favorite memories are her birth and when she tested negative, the mum desires that she studies till college so that she can get a well paying Job. Sharon's mum was born in 1974 at Mumias, she studies up to class seven and dropped out. Because of her handicap ness of illiteracy she has involved herself in casual labor mostly of washing clothes.
